Cocktails & Conversations

Our Fundraising Event

Cocktails

Community building is a key pillar of the Cocktails and Conversations event. Whether you enjoy cocktails or a simple glass of water, our event is a excellent opportunity for members of the LGBT+ community and their allies to come together and celebrate our successes, while also raising money to improve the lives of LGBT+ students facing financial crisis and food insecurity.

Our 2019 event featured a keynote address, a meet and greet, open bar, charcuterie, fresh fruit and vegetables and the musical stylings of The Mountain Laurels

Cocktails & Conversations

Stay tuned for the announcement of our next Cocktails and Conversations event.  We will be announcing the date and details of the event.

We will be raising money for LGBT+ students at Appalachian State University who are facing impending financial crisis and food insecurity as a result of embracing their identity as an LGBT+ individual. All are welcome at our event as we work together to empower the LGBT+ community.
